Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le moineau by Eva Gonzalès was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 248,750.00 (€ 281,129.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eva Gonzalès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au bord de la mer (Honfleur) in November last year with an auction result of USD 2,700,000.00 (€ 2,615,518.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le moineau von Eva Gonzalès kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 248.750,00 (€ 281.129,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eva Gonzalès auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au bord de la mer (Honfleur) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.700.000,00 (€ 2.615.518,74).
