Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Dessert by Eva Gonzalès for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,011.93). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eva Gonzalès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Au bord de la mer (Honfleur) in November last year with an auction result of USD 2,700,000.00 (€ 2,615,518.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dessert von Eva Gonzalès für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.011,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eva Gonzalès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Au bord de la mer (Honfleur) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.700.000,00 (€ 2.615.518,74).
