Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Point to Point by Esteban Vicente. The price achieved of USD 635.00 (€ 600.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Esteban Vicente achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 156,964.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Point to Point von Esteban Vicente zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 635,00 (€ 600,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Esteban Vicente erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 156.964,75).
