Auction result misses estimated price range
In September last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Esteban Vicente for USD 4,410.00 (€ 4,507.82). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Esteban Vicente achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 156,964.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Esteban Vicente für USD 4.410,00 (€ 4.507,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Esteban Vicente erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 156.964,75).
