Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Intense Light by Esteban Vicente was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 76,700.00 (€ 70,315.36). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Esteban Vicente - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 175,000.00 (€ 156,964.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Intense Light von Esteban Vicente wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 76.700,00 (€ 70.315,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Esteban Vicente mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 175.000,00 (€ 156.964,75) versteigert wurde.
