Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Esteban Vicente could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,727.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Esteban Vicente achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 156,964.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Esteban Vicente konnte im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.727,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Esteban Vicente erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 156.964,75).
