Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Hoja de música by Emilio Pettoruti for USD 81,900.00 (€ 76,320.94). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Day Auction at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emilio Pettoruti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Concierto in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 794,500.00 (€ 642,591.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hoja de música von Emilio Pettoruti für USD 81.900,00 (€ 76.320,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Pettoruti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Concierto im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 794.500,00 (€ 642.591,39).
