In May 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Concierto by Emilio Pettoruti. The »bidding war« ended at USD 794,500.00 (€ 642,591.39), 59% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Concierto the most expensive artwork by Emilio Pettoruti that we have observed at auctions so far.
