Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin Título by Emilio Pettoruti was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,824.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Pettoruti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concierto in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 794,500.00 (€ 642,591.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sin Título von Emilio Pettoruti kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.824,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Pettoruti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Concierto im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 794.500,00 (€ 642.591,39).
