Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vaso de flores by Emiliano di Cavalcanti was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The price achieved of USD 56,700.00 (€ 52,837.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,323,751.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vaso de flores von Emiliano di Cavalcanti wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 52.837,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.575.000,00 (€ 1.323.751,89).
