In November 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Pescador by Emiliano di Cavalcanti. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,312.50 (€ 63,033.56), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,323,751.89).

Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pescador von Emiliano di Cavalcanti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 75.312,50 (€ 63.033,56) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.575.000,00 (€ 1.323.751,89).
