The »bidding war« ended at USD 150,000.00 (€ 126,071.61), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,323,751.89).

Die Arbeit Tres mulheres von Emiliano di Cavalcanti wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 126.071,61) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.575.000,00 (€ 1.323.751,89).
