Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Frantics by Emerson Woelffer for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,413.84). This price was achieved in the auction First Open/NYC at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Emerson Woelffer have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2011 by the work 7th Street at USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,848.34).

Im September 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Frantics von Emerson Woelffer für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.413,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open/NYC bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Emerson Woelffer wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2011 die Arbeit 7th Street mit USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.848,34).
