In January 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work 7th Street by Emerson Woelffer. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,848.34), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, 7th Street is even the most expensive work of art by Emerson Woelffer that we have observed at auctions so far.
