This artwork by Elmer Nelson Bischoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Untitled #33 sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,947.77) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elmer Nelson Bischoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Cliffs in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 564,800.00 (€ 440,115.33).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Elmer Nelson Bischoff erzielte im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Untitled #33 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.947,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elmer Nelson Bischoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Cliffs im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 564.800,00 (€ 440.115,33).
