The work Untitled, 1953 by Elmer Nelson Bischoff was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,075.00 (€ 66,846.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elmer Nelson Bischoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Cliffs in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 564,800.00 (€ 440,115.33).

Die Arbeit Untitled, 1953 von Elmer Nelson Bischoff wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 75.075,00 (€ 66.846,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elmer Nelson Bischoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Cliffs im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 564.800,00 (€ 440.115,33).
