Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Untitled (#2 Studio Interior) by Elmer Nelson Bischoff. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,029.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elmer Nelson Bischoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Cliffs in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 564,800.00 (€ 440,115.33).
