Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Bullfight by Elaine de Kooning. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 352,800.00 (€ 333,333.33). Other works by Elaine de Kooning have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 562,500.00 (€ 479,008.77) in March 2021 for the work Red Bison/Blue Horse.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bullfight von Elaine de Kooning zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 352.800,00 (€ 333.333,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Elaine de Kooning haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 562.500,00 (€ 479.008,77) im März 2021 für die Arbeit Red Bison/Blue Horse beobachtet.
