Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by El Lissitzky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait ('The Constructor') in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 947,250.00 (€ 1,099,444.42).

Torf bei Christies versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.355,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von El Lissitzky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait ('The Constructor') im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 947.250,00 (€ 1.099.444,42).
