Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Neuer, Plate 10 from Sieg über die Sonne by El Lissitzky was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,584.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by El Lissitzky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait ('The Constructor') in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 947,250.00 (€ 1,099,444.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Neuer, Plate 10 from Sieg über die Sonne von El Lissitzky kam im März 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.584,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von El Lissitzky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait ('The Constructor') im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 947.250,00 (€ 1.099.444,42).
