Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction CONTEMPORARY LIVING – Photographs, Prints & Design, which included the work Tennis Abstraction by Edward W. Quigley. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,627.13). Other works by Edward W. Quigley have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,535.15) in February 2007 for the work Selected industrial abstractions, 1930s.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion CONTEMPORARY LIVING – Photographs, Prints & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tennis Abstraction von Edward W. Quigley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.627,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Edward W. Quigley haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.535,15) im Februar 2007 für die Arbeit Selected industrial abstractions, 1930s beobachtet.
