A top price for Edward W. Quigley - as previously expected
The work Selected industrial abstractions, 1930s by Edward W. Quigley was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,535.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Selected industrial abstractions, 1930s is the most expensive artwork by Edward W. Quigley that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Selected industrial abstractions, 1930s von Edward W. Quigley wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.535,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Selected industrial abstractions, 1930s das teuerste Kunstwerk von Edward W. Quigley, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
