Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Segunda by Ed Paschke. The price achieved of USD 32,760.00 (€ 28,127.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ed Paschke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bag Boots in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 245,000.00 (€ 179,618.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Segunda von Ed Paschke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 28.127,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ed Paschke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bag Boots im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 245.000,00 (€ 179.618,77).
