This artwork by Ed Paschke achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in November this year. In the Selections from The Playboy Collection auction, the work The Great Race sold for USD 53,760.00 (€ 49,284.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ed Paschke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bag Boots, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 245,000.00 (€ 179,618.77).

In der Auktion Selections from The Playboy Collection wurde die Arbeit The Great Race für USD 53.760,00 (€ 49.284,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ed Paschke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bag Boots beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 245.000,00 (€ 179.618,77) versteigert wurde.
