Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Variable Piece # 70 (In Process) by Douglas Huebler was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,495.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Douglas Huebler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Variable Piece #101, which sold at auction in September 2016 for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,801.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Variable Piece # 70 (In Process) von Douglas Huebler kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.495,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Douglas Huebler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Variable Piece #101 beobachtet, die im September 2016 für GBP 52.500,00 (€ 60.801,52) versteigert wurde.
