Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,495.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Douglas Huebler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Variable Piece #101, which sold at auction in September 2016 for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,801.52).
