Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Variable Piece #61 by Douglas Huebler. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,925.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Douglas Huebler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Variable Piece #101 in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,801.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Variable Piece #61 von Douglas Huebler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.925,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Douglas Huebler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Variable Piece #101 im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 60.801,52).
