The work Alternative Piece #6 by Douglas Huebler was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 21,250.00 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Douglas Huebler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Variable Piece #101, which sold at auction in September 2016 for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,801.52).

Die Arbeit Alternative Piece #6 von Douglas Huebler wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 21.250,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Douglas Huebler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Variable Piece #101 beobachtet, die im September 2016 für GBP 52.500,00 (€ 60.801,52) versteigert wurde.
