Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Douglas Huebler was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,994.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Douglas Huebler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Variable Piece #101 in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,801.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Douglas Huebler kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.994,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Douglas Huebler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Variable Piece #101 im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 60.801,52).
