In the TO LIVE WITH ART: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection auction, the work Crocodile Tears Ii: Buried Treasure (Monet) changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,638.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Douglas Huebler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Variable Piece #101 in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,801.52).
