This artwork by Dorothy Iannone achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in October 2020. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Is This Tantra sold for USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,029.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dorothy Iannone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hello And Goodbye To Copenhagen in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 41,962.51).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Dorothy Iannone erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Is This Tantra für USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.029,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Iannone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hello And Goodbye To Copenhagen im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 41.962,51).
