Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Grisebach held the auction Frühjahr 2019 - Zeitgenössische Kunst, which included this untitled work by Dorothy Iannone. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dorothy Iannone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hello And Goodbye To Copenhagen, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 41,962.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Grisebach die Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - Zeitgenössische Kunst durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dorothy Iannone zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Iannone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hello And Goodbye To Copenhagen beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 41.962,51) versteigert wurde.
