Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Part I and Part II, which included the work Guerilla Lounging No. 6 by Delia Brown. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,274.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Delia Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blonde Self-Portrait in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 57,979.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Part I and Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Guerilla Lounging No. 6 von Delia Brown zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.274,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Delia Brown erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blonde Self-Portrait im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 78.000,00 (€ 57.979,63).
