Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chelsey Green, Double Self Portrait (Turquoise/Magenta) by Delia Brown was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,724.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Delia Brown - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blonde Self-Portrait, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 78,000.00 (€ 57,979.63).

Die Arbeit Chelsey Green, Double Self Portrait (Turquoise/Magenta) von Delia Brown kam im März 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.724,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Delia Brown mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blonde Self-Portrait beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 78.000,00 (€ 57.979,63) versteigert wurde.
