Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the Heazy Babeh! Guerilla Lounging No. 7 by Delia Brown was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,106.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Delia Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blonde Self-Portrait in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 57,979.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In the Heazy Babeh! Guerilla Lounging No. 7 von Delia Brown kam im November 2007 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.106,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Delia Brown erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blonde Self-Portrait im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 78.000,00 (€ 57.979,63).
