Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Davis Rhodes was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,825.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Davis Rhodes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,993.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Davis Rhodes kam im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.825,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Davis Rhodes konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.993,75) versteigert.
