Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Davis Rhodes for GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,410.77). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Davis Rhodes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,993.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Davis Rhodes für GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.410,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Davis Rhodes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.993,75).
