Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Davis Rhodes for GBP 500.00 (€ 581.64). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Davis Rhodes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,993.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Davis Rhodes für GBP 500,00 (€ 581,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Davis Rhodes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.993,75).
