Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Puppet Show by David Ratcliff. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,137.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by David Ratcliff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2007 the work Abstract Painting (Floor) was auctioned for USD 22,800.00 (€ 17,233.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Puppet Show von David Ratcliff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.137,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von David Ratcliff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2007 die Arbeit Abstract Painting (Floor) für USD 22.800,00 (€ 17.233,56) versteigert.
