In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work A Beatle In Mercury'S Clothing by Dave Muller. The »bidding war« ended at USD 93,750.00 (€ 85,273.79), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes A Beatle In Mercury'S Clothing the most expensive artwork by Dave Muller that we have observed at auctions so far.
