This artwork by Dave Muller achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in December 2019. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Monochrome #4 (Hydro Dynamics) sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,237.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dave Muller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Beatle In Mercury'S Clothing in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 85,273.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Dave Muller erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York wurde die Arbeit Monochrome #4 (Hydro Dynamics) für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.237,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dave Muller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Beatle In Mercury'S Clothing im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 85.273,79).
