Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dan Walsh could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Accessory changed hands for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,541.11) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dan Walsh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Diptych II in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 64,149.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dan Walsh konnte im April 2019 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Accessory für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.541,11) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dan Walsh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Diptych II im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 64.149,56).
