Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Dan Walsh was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 22,385.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dan Walsh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Diptych II, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 64,149.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dan Walsh wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 22.385,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dan Walsh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Diptych II beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 64.149,56) versteigert wurde.
