The work Trackside by Christopher Brown was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. It achieved a price of USD 1,657.50 (€ 1,526.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Film Study in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 46,000.00 (€ 32,351.08).

Die Arbeit Trackside von Christopher Brown kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.657,50 (€ 1.526,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christopher Brown erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Film Study im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.000,00 (€ 32.351,08).
