Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné by Christian Zervos for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 40,180.83). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Zervos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 170,500.00 (€ 118,600.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné von Christian Zervos für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 40.180,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Zervos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 170.500,00 (€ 118.600,45) versteigert wurde.
