In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction, the work The complete set of 34 volumes (numbered 1-33, volume II in 2 parts), numerous plates and illustrations, uniformly bound in half leather over beige buckram, some volumes retaining original printed wrappers, published by Éditions Cahiers d'Art, Paris, 1949 sold for GBP 40, However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Zervos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 170,500.00 (€ 118,600.45).

In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso wurde die Arbeit The complete set of 34 volumes (numbered 1-33, volume II in 2 parts), numerous plates and illustrations, uniformly bound in half leather over beige buckram, some volumes retaining original printed wrappers, published by Éditions Cahiers d'Art, Paris, 1949 für GBP 40.320,00 (€ 47.365,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Zervos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 170.500,00 (€ 118.600,45) versteigert wurde.
