Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Paris: Editions Cahiers d'Art, 1957-1978 by Christian Zervos was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in February 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,330.70). Admittedly, works by Christian Zervos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 118,600.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pablo Picasso 1895-1973, Catalogue raisonné. Paris: Editions Cahiers d'Art, 1957-1978 von Christian Zervos wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.330,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Zervos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 118.600,45).
