Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Zervos could be acquired at Phillips in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Pablo Picasso 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné changed hands for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,839.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Zervos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 118,600.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Zervos konnte im April 2015 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wechselte die Arbeit Pablo Picasso 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.839,10) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Zervos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 118.600,45).
