Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné by Christian Zervos was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 46,850.00 (€ 55,940.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Zervos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 170,500.00 (€ 118,600.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné von Christian Zervos kam im Februar 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 46.850,00 (€ 55.940,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Zervos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 170.500,00 (€ 118.600,45) versteigert wurde.
