It achieved a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,199.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiho Aoshima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Glow in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).

Die Arbeit A Contented Skull; The Divine Gas von Chiho Aoshima kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.199,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Glow im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37).
