Sold at the lower estimate price
In September 2016 Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY, which included the work Her Place by Charlie White. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,779.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charlie White - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Granddaughter", 2005, which sold at auction in May 2011 for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,627.43).
